Mid Clamp
A mid clamp sits between two solar panels, gripping both frames simultaneously. It provides even clamping force across both panels, preventing movement under wind load. Most solar arrays use 2 mid clamps per panel (one on each side).
End Clamp
An end clamp sits at the outer edge of a solar array row, securing the outermost panel frame to the mounting rail. It functions as the termination point of the row, preventing the edge panel from shifting. Use 2 end clamps per row (one at each end) plus mid clamps for all interior panel junctions.

How Many Clamps Do I Need?
For a typical solar array with multiple panels in a row:
- End clamps: 2 per row (one at each end)
- Mid clamps: 2 per panel junction (both sides)
Example: 10 panels on 2 parallel rails needs:
End clamps: 2 per rail × 2 ends = 4 pcs
Mid clamps: (10−1) gaps × 2 rails = 18 pcs
